And it's working fine in Chrome, too. You were right - I made a mistake: I added a blank character accidentally between the asterisk and the dot. ![]() |

That doesn't shock me if it's true. I think there was some hoopla surrounding Google making it difficult to get tools like ABP working properly as well for a long time. I do know Ghostery at one time admitted their extension had problems in Chrome. |

Google used to provided an extension called Download Assistant, which would let you use external download managers to manage Google Chrome downloads. They seem to have removed it from Chrome Web Store. I wonder why?
![]() I found this one -https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/downloaders/lfjamigppmepikjlacjdpgjaiojdjhoj (Downloaders) I haven't tried it yet. Hope it works, because it was last updated ~ a year ago. What do you folks use to integrate Free Download Manager with Chrome/Chromium? The built-in option doesn't seem to work, at all. It does create the plugin dll file in the Plugins folder (Chromium profile), but won't work. |

I don't think this extension has been mentioned for Chrome. I've seen it mentioned a couple times for Firefox before, though.
CsFire -https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/csfire/kflgpkibamedbalplkfjeodpghfelmii/details It seems quite similar to RequestPolicy. Another one quite similar is KISS Privacy: -https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/kiss-privacy/lfopjlendebbnfddpgpoaahmpbgmffii |
