And it's working fine in Chrome, too. You were right - I made a mistake: I added a blank character accidentally between the asterisk and the dot.

That doesn't shock me if it's true. I think there was some hoopla surrounding Google making it difficult to get tools like ABP working properly as well for a long time. I do know Ghostery at one time admitted their extension had problems in Chrome.

Is there a way to use Chrome with Sanboxie and allow the addons to change? I mean in firefox portable I use these:
Quote:
OpenFilePath=firefox.exe,*\ABE\Rules\*
OpenFilePath=firefox.exe,...path...\Data\profile\NoScriptSTS.db
OpenFilePath=firefox.exe,...path...\Data\profile\places.sqlite
OpenFilePath=firefox.exe,...path...\Data\profile\permissions.sqlite
OpenFilePath=firefox.exe,...path...\Data\profile\prefs.js
OpenFilePath=firefox.exe,*\urlclassifier*.sqlite*

What would be the correspondants in chrome for cookies and addons?

Google used to provided an extension called Download Assistant, which would let you use external download managers to manage Google Chrome downloads. They seem to have removed it from Chrome Web Store. I wonder why?

I found this one -https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/downloaders/lfjamigppmepikjlacjdpgjaiojdjhoj (Downloaders)

I haven't tried it yet. Hope it works, because it was last updated ~ a year ago.

What do you folks use to integrate Free Download Manager with Chrome/Chromium? The built-in option doesn't seem to work, at all. It does create the plugin dll file in the Plugins folder (Chromium profile), but won't work.

HI

Is available new extension to chrome: Netcraft Anti-Phishing

So far, only on firefox, now on chrome

Why use the Netcraft Anti-Phishing Extension?

- Protect your savings from Phishing attacks.
- See the hosting location and Risk Rating of every site you visit (as well as well other information).
- Help defend the Internet community from fraudsters.

Secure also before XSS atacks (according to manufacturer)

Requirements: Google Chrome 22.0 or later on Windows, Mac or Linux

Mask Me from Abine. Haven't tried it yet but looks interesting.

We have a second Adblock Plus. A ripoff of the original's name only the B is capitalized.

I don't think this extension has been mentioned for Chrome. I've seen it mentioned a couple times for Firefox before, though.

CsFire -https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/csfire/kflgpkibamedbalplkfjeodpghfelmii/details

It seems quite similar to RequestPolicy. Another one quite similar is KISS Privacy: -https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/kiss-privacy/lfopjlendebbnfddpgpoaahmpbgmffii
