Added new hard drive using TI-10.4942.
Removed second drive (SATA 80gig) and put 750 gig there. I then did a replace hard drive from primary drive (250 gig) to the new 750 gig drive. I then was instructed to replace that 750 gig with the 250 gig. I did that - now the 750 is primary and I put back the secondary 80 gig back. Windows XP does start up with the 750 and everything is there. Problem is the secondary (80 gig) is now not recognized. Under Administrative Tools/Computer Management/Disk Management the drive is recognized. I restarted a couple times and still nothing. I can't reformat this drive as I have stuff on it I need (one of the reasons I got a bigger drive!) Any ideas -----> THANKS |

Can you assign the 80GB drive a drive letter in Disk Management?

I just tried the 250 gig and it recognizes it when I put it where the 80 gig (secondary spot) was.
