Default Another SpywareBlaster 4.6 & Firefox not detected

Hi all
After uninstailling SpywareBlaster 4.5 and installing the new
SpywareBlaster 4.6 I noticed the FireFox was not being detected

I have found the if the APPDATA folder is set to be a
HIDDEN folder that SpywareBlaster 4.6 will NOT dectect FireFox

The APPDATA folder can be FOUND at:

On Windows 2000/XP, :

C:\Documents and Settings\<Windows login/user name>\Application Data\

On Windows Vista/7, this path is usually:

C:\Users\<Windows login/user name>\AppData

The quick fix was to simply set the file to set to THE SHOW status
and all is fine again.
FireFox IS NOW being detected by SpywareBlaster 4.6

To show hidden files go to
Control Panel
Folder Options
add a check mark to
SHOW HIDDEN FILES box

All should be well when you re open SpywareBlaster 4.6

Just thought I'd pass this on so others might benefit...

Big Grin Re: Another SpywareBlaster 4.6 & Firefox not detected

Ah ha! Thank you for posting this. Spywareblaster has been showing "Mozilla Firefox Not Detected" on my laptop for a few years now, and I could not find any solutions on these forums or elsewhere online that worked. There were posts about a "registry.dat" file being too large, site preferences issues, etc., and none worked for me.

Then I came upon this post - and this solution worked! Hopefully others will find this post as well.
