This is hugh!
I did a quick backup of a small non-system partition directly to DVD using TI9 Home build 3625. It worked!! I restored the above mentioned partition from the DVD.It worked!! Thank you Acronis!! |

If by direct DVD writing you mean without the aid of InCD, yes it works OK.
In case anyone wonders, the new version still works with previously InCD formatted dvd+rw .. but they do need to be 'empty', i.e. it doesn't come back and say 'would you like to erase this dvd+rw'.. Mvh |

Sounds like this might be worth the upgrade. Still, I will let the brave ones do some more beta testing.
