Default How many People have read RFC 1855

Be honest. How many have read it before coming to this post?
And how many agree with it being implemented here?

No13,
No clue, never heard of it. Ever heard of Emily Post. I use to hate it when my mother would say, "Emily Post says...." gag!!! I am not saying it's bad or wrong it's just so... I'll stop now before I get myself in trouble.

LOL...RFC 1855 : netiquette
Important, I feel, to read such a document before we start posting on any forum, or make any emails or sumthin'... but that's just the personal opinion of a raving maniac.

This is a very pre spam standard

Read it long ago, when we were creating our own policy. Looks a bit long in the tooth by now (gopher, mud, and how about veronica...)

Meneer - ahh, the good old days of the vintage protocols ... back then I was connected to the Internet via an intricate network of string and Milo tins, we banged with a spoon to send the 0's and 1's ...

I've had a quick look at it, and though we all occasionally make mistakes,
I tend to surround myself with people who have given me reason to look up to, and improve.

Etiquette, it's simple. Exercise your conscience.
If you want to feel proud of yourself, you've got to do thing's you can be proud of. Feeling's follow actions....

Personally, I also think Wilders' Netiquette will quite suffice. Most of those "manners" would have one losing their bank account, if not their minds!

Manners were put in place long ago to keep peace between people who were living tooth by jowl. Much like most of the humans on Earth are or will be soon.

Manners were not introduced to order one around, but, to keep some semblance of propriety and privacy. As we can see now, privacy is a little known privilege to most people. Thus manners, to keep a sense of oneself in a madd(en)ing crowd.

Speaking of Privacy, some governments want to do away with that, but, then where are my Manners??!

I read it from cover to cover (Twice) and I still can't figure out who the murderer was or why 'Nettie Quett' got pushed under a Bus??.....And who actually was 'Inspector Korner of the Yard'.....??!!
