Default how to update

i am using the trial version of worm guard i dont know how to update . i am using win 98 se

Hi Sandra, and welcome!
No updates needed, we add filenames to it if we really like, so not a worm or trojan name but it's exe or like blaster.exe and niot w32.Blase.... whatever it could be.
WG is not dependent of names but finds malicious code in very different ways, hence no updates necessary.
There are a few threads here were people recommend a series they find usefull.

But remember Wormguard is meant to complement an existing, updated antivirus scanner. With the AV you have signatures and some or lots of heuristics (maybe, depends which AV) and with Wormguard you have somewhat paranoid heuristics and protection against some tricks attackers use.
