Default Which files/reg entries to copy to back up desktop and quick launch icons in WinXP?

As the title says... I'd also appreciate recommendations of any utilities that can back up the quick launch shortcuts order (similar to DesktopOK or Desktop Save and Restore, except for Quick Launch).

Motivation: I want to make a batch file to run on start-up that copies the files/reg keys that contain the position (order) of the shortcuts on my desktop and quick launch task bar. The former are mis-arranged frequently after screen sharing or monitor switching. The latter are reset infrequently to alphabetical order (I have about 40 quick launch shortcuts so its a PITA to rearrange them).
