I just wanted to know why when the Opaserv.D worm is listed in a previous nod32 virus definitions update package, the program states that it cannot clean this virus?
![]() Also, is there a way to manually re-download a virus definition package? ![]() |

Hi Natahl,
I think you are telling me that you are infected with Opaserv.D worm and NOD32 is telling you that it can not clean it. Is that correct? Can you tell me your OS? And have you followed all the steps to clean your system? See here also... http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=4443 If you have WinME or XP it is possible that you must manually disable System Restore if this worm is in that folder.

Hmm.. by definition, Opaserv is not a virus. It doesn't infect files, so Opaserv can't be disinfected (cleaned), it has to be deleted. Regards, Anders EuroSecure
