Limiting Private Message Receipt to only Members on your Buddy List

In addition to this one from yesterday, another new feature has been enabled in the User CP - Edit Options - Private Messaging section.

You may now limit receiving private messages from just those members you specifically add to your Buddy List. All other members who try to send you a PM will be told you only receive messages from listed buddies. (Note that Forum Staff will still be able to send you private messages regardless of this setting.)

This has been added because it is a common and popular feature available on other forums.

A word of caution though: If you set this option and make a limited list of buddies, no one else will be able to PM you. Sometimes you only meet a "new buddy" when they first send you a personal message. This feature may best be used by those members who normally disabled PM altogether because they can't limit it to just a few known people. If you like meeting new friends, don't limit PM to buddies only.
