It said sbdatabase2.dtb corrupt or something like that. I got the files manually and it's fine now, so can't see the exact error text (unless I move files and do it again). Just hope this helps you figure out what caused it. Noticed most were on XP SP2. Not me. |

I just updated spywareblaster 3.3 manually and it corrupts the database. The sizes of the files I manually downloaded for the 3-16 update are:
chdatabase.dtb 19,770 rsdatabase.dtb 161,804 sbdatabase.dtb 193,425 sbdatabase2.dtb 67,539 sbinfo.dtb 22,080 The same files from the 3-10 database that was working are: chdatabase.dtb 37,926 rsdatabase.dtb 314,552 sbdatabase.dtb 379,318 sbdatabase2.dtb 64,734 sbinfo.dtb 21,744 What are the sizes of the files supposed to be? Can you place manual update links on the www.javacoolsoftware.com site, and provide the sizes that those files are supposed to be when downloaded? Last edited by rich : April 5th, 2005 at 04:52 PM. |

Just wanted to say: Thank God for wonderful people like javacool et al, who write outstanding free programs like Spyware Blaster and yet still support them better than a lot of shareware programs are supported. Such is very worthy of donations.
