Hello,
every monday I schedule a full backup of my HD and every tuesday incremental backups for the remaining days of the week. The full backups I name for example KW_2007-12.tib and True Image automatically names the incremental backups mostly KW_2007-122.tib, KW_2007-123.tib, KW_2007-14.tib and so on. Sometimes True Image names the incremental backups KW_2007-13.tib, KW_2007-14.tib, KW_2007-15.tib etc. Can someone tell me why and how to avoid it? Thank you, Anselm |

Hello Anselm,
Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software. Please have a look at this previous post of mine describing backup naming scheme. Thank you. -- Aleksandr Isakov

http://www.anjora.de/muster/true_image_filenames.jpg Also after reading that previous post I do not understand, why the incremental backups are named KW_2007-202.tib, KW_2007-203.tib, KW_2007-204.tib and so on (full backup KW_2007-20.tib), but KW_2007-22.tib, KW_2007-23.tib, KW_2007-24.tib etc. (full backup KW_2007-21.tib) using the same configuration. Regards, Anselm |
