Default help with hips

When using learning mode in hips and then switching to interactive mode will rules be applied that were learned in learning mode?I'm running Eset Smart Security 5.2.9.1 and it runs really nice on Vista Home Premium sp/2 32 bit.I did read in help files that after x amount of days in learning mode you would be asked to pick another mode and was assuming that it would apply the rules in interactive mode. Thanks for any help.

In learning mode you are creating a whitelist (list of allowed applications)

because now you changed to Interactive mode, the default action will be "ask" for non-whitelisted applications.
