Yes, if you make a backup image of a partition - everything can be included in the image.

The compression ratio doesn't affect the quality of the contents.

It does affect the speed. It is possible to increase the Paragon compression ratio to much greater than any other backup program.

It will of course take longer if you choose a very high compression setting.

If you look at the layout.ini of your Paragon app. you will find this:

Best Compression level (2-9) = 2

That means if you select Best ( highest ) compression it is set =2.

You can change that to make it anything up to 9 - thus increasing the compression.
