Hi there,
I am trying to find out how can I use a temporary folder to store the backup while acronis is backing up all my files and when the task is down, the final backup will be send to the final destination over the LAN. I am experiencing an issue, I have to backup some folders that contains a huge amount of small files. And the problem is that over the network it is defenitly too slow (20hours for 180 GB). So I would like to use a temporary folder to avoid this problem. thanks for your help ![]() |

Not an expert in this but TI allows what is called Pre/Post commands. Look in the TI user guide for more info.
Create a batch file with a command line similar to: Copy X:\myarchfolder\mybackup.tib Y:\folder\ (X is the drive you stored the backup on, Y is the network drive) In the Post command window put in the batch file name. Then run the backup to create the archive in X:\myarchfolder and subsequently transfer it. |
