This can be done. However, the new version is 90% finished and it will be out very soon.

Are you getting close to a beta (if you are planning one)?

There will be no beta. The new version is 100% finished, tested and stable. I have to update the website and upload the new version. Probably tomorrow. I wanted to do this 3 days ago but I was out of town. I will post the new version and I have in plan to update the entire website, but this is the next step. First, the new version will be out and then I will work on the website.

And you want 10$ for the software? First make a good name, then ask for money. I can use tons of great firewalls for free.

Greedy people these days are everywhere.

^ There is always freedom of choice.

And in my opinion this is the best $10 I ever spend (can use it on a dozen computers without being charged one extra dime)

Sorry for you. I would buy something like 15 bottles of good beer for that money.

Have you tried it ??

I have and looking at the 69 pages on this post many people have.

I don't know any software around which lets you (for a one time payment) create almost unlimited keys. !! And I am for one a happy user, and I don't regret a bit paying for it.

Good name:
1. Developer is responsive and fixes bugs as reported.
2. Developer implements feature requests as long as it is doable.
2. Software doesn't have any ads and doesn't offer any toolbars.
3. Software is free to use (notifications is disabled, must pay 10$).
4. License is lifetime and can be used to ANY number of computers you own.
5. Your comment is stupid even for an opinion, reported.

Name calling doesn't help. I didn't call anyone stupid, right?

If you are going to criticize someone's work (hard work) make sure to give reasons. Not just "I can use any free firewall I want".

@Tarantula

As you tried it what didn't you like ?? Tell the developer and he will change it, he is a bit unresponsive at the moment because he is working on a new version, but he will come around soon..

Ps: Was online just today (so changed that)

It's "just" JUST in your mind. Actually it's the truth.

New developers should consider asking for donation, at first. That's how the things work these days.

$10 for a life time key with (almost) unlimited (other) keys, I would like to see more from other developers, but maybe that is just me.

That's how YOU THINK things work these days. Life is becoming hard, you can't get everything for free. The dev is offering his Windows Firewall Control free for use, you just need to pay 10$ for notifications.
1. He made the lock feature and shell integration AVAILABLE TO FREE USERS.
2. He made his other software COMPLETELY FREE.
3. Calling him greedy? O.o

Actually, there were some who also said what you said. It's just that the dev is very generous in providing his software. I also apologize for calling you stupid. Cheers!

Because this thread has already 69 pages and is very hard to follow, I propose to use a new thread instead:

Windows Firewall Control 4

The new version is out.

P.S.: Please, a moderator to close this thread.
