Hi.
yeah chiron shows how to configure the defense+ against ransomware.
I found it at gizmos freeware site and searched "how to configure comodo firewall".
It may also be at the comodo forum too.it strengthens comodo quite a lot.
Regards.

Ah, i do have a post somewhere from the Comodo forum on how to config. It must the "Chiron manuscript". But, i don't remember exactly, i was noticing a weird behaviour at somepoint and stopped it. Honestly, even without it, it's probably overkill. I mean, some days, i have nostalgia for IE6 because it would make my AV "bark". Nowdays, the only way to see live malware is to download it myself on purpose. I don't even see these browser exploits... I go to porn sites and nothing happens. It's a misery... I remember back in the days the terror with the "Beast", the other one that was counting down before shutting your PC, people running asking for HiJackThis log analysis! It's all gone! You go to security fora and instead of cries for help by desperate people, you read software reviews! Malware writers, wake up, do something spectacular every once in a while!

Maybe you could write some malware yourself
I remember the navashield rogue which would countdown to destroying your hard drive.Scary piece that one.!

Anyway less malware the better.Makes the internet a safer place.

Ah, yes, good one! Yes, scary is the word. In XP days, there were some that were infecting so many people overnight that they were telling about them in 8 clock news!

Yes, internet is safer place, but it's also more boring for people who try software for fun! I mean, how are you going to enjoy your brand new, shiny shield, if there's not a nice, little war near you?

Yes, you can try to run malware yourself or get the latest list of exploited webpages and go there on purpose, but there's no thrill in that. It's like trying to laugh by tickling yourself! Where are the threads like "System Safety Monitor saved my behind today!"

Awww, nostalgia!
