ESET Smart Security + ESET NOD32 Antivirus 6.0.115.0 RC Released

Hello,

Release candidates for ESET Smart Security and ESET NOD32 Antivirus 6 have been released and are now available for you to download for testing purposes.

New in Version 6.0.115.0:

ANTI-THEFT

• One Way Messaging: Send message to the device to communicate with the thief (or finder). Allows you to offer a reward, provide contact information, etc. to increase chance of retrieving the computer
• Diagnostics: Increases security by prompting the user for modifications to key system settings such as Windows autologon and account password
• Web Portal: Changes to the design, language and functionality of your account.

SCANNING

• After Scan Actions: User can now choose to enter hibernate, standby mode, reboot or shutdown after an on-demand scan is finished

ENGINE

• Numerous bug fixes

USER INTERFACE

• Numerous text string fixes

Known Issues

• The application crashes when a file is restored from quarantine

NOTE: Anti-Theft is currently enabled in build 115 of ESET Smart Security and ESET NOD32 Antivirus. For final release it will only be available in ESET Smart Security.
