I like the startup manager and the IE Add-ons manager. I used to use the startup delay option too, but now I prefer Soluto for that. Winpatrol alerts to system changes and that might help you catch something you don't want on the system, but I think its' main strength is it brings together a lot of information that you otherwise have to access through mulitple UI's in the OS.

I use regscanner to search for Winpatrol Plus Info in the shell context menu, (It became a habit of mine when uninstalling software, search with Regscanner and delete keys manually ). Or you could install it again, disable shell context menu, then uninstall again.

Glary Utilities let you disable right-click items, you could try the demo version and see if it works for you. Also WinPatrol support could help you with that, I am sure they would !

WinPatrol PLUS information is not available to non-license holders. That said, if you are not a PLUS subscriber and no longer want to use WinPatrol, it could be you did not have a clean uninstall. See my instructions here for how to completely remove WinPatrol from your computer.
