Question layout.ini WinPE editing for Hard Disk Manager 11 Server

Code:
CDR recording speed = 3 Image split size (MB) = 4000 Enable image split = off Use manual settings = 3 Timezone = 6 Codepage = 850 Language number = 17 Bootable backup ISO = ".\..\ISO\bootcd.iso" Bootable backup = every Set image file names automatically = on Use VSS = off Do not control archive integrity = off Enable reboot to safe mode = off Disk partitions alignment mode (Legacy/Vista/Inheritance) = Vista Trusted move/resize operations = on Use old copy = off Use old move = off Use old NTFS resize = off PSR reboot os type = "PSR_OS_LINUX" P2V additional drivers path = "" Archive directory location = "search://archive_db" Use VSS <-> Hotbackup switch = off Use raw data process for OEM partitions = off SMTP Server port = 25 Fault tolerant mode enabled = on Archive directory disabled = on

Searching for the line I could add to the WinPE bootable Paragon Hard Disk Manager 11 Server that would stop the FS integrity check every time I wish to clone disk to disk...having to uncheck this every time is a pain. Anyone have any ideas!?

Simplest way is to start up your installed paragon - got to tools>settings.

Set it up there.

Then close the app.

Compare the layout.ini with one in winpe.

Or - when you have unchecked it in winpe - browse to the paragon layout.ini on your x:\drive and copy it from there to your HD - see the differences.

I assume you have added browse/explore function to your paragon winpe media. It doen't come included with paragon pe - not sure why.

It is very easy to do.

@andylau,

Please try to add the following line to the layout.ini file:
Check FS integrity policy (Always/Once/Never) = Never

Check if it works.

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to add changes to the Layout.ini from WinPE Recovery CD. The only way is to manually make changes in Paragon's ISO file.

Thanks Mech!!!

But I know this setting.
I am not just want to know about FS integrity, I also want to know what are the meanings of other settings. For example, "Universal Restore = off", if I change to "on", what will happen?
