I'm trying to help a family member of mine clear her computer of a trojan which AVG identifies as lamedon.b, but so far without success. AVG picks it up, cleans what it can and moves the rest to the vault, but when I reboot the machine or try to log online, it is either still there, or its reinstalling itself.
I searched the microsoft, McAffee and Symantec websites for information about the trojan as well as information on how to remove it but can find nothing pertaining to it at all.. I'm pulling my hair out over this one.. can anyone help me before I go completely bald? |
