Default Don't send when I restart windows

My pc wasn't shut down or restarted for several days and everything worked fine until I restarted today and when I turned it on after I got back from work it showed the Don't Send Error report popup from windows and ESS did not start at all, but I can see the processes in the Task Manager, they are all there:
ekrn.exe
egui.exe

Also the firewall works, when an application tries to connect to an ip, the popup from the firewall(Allow/Deny) comes up normally, but I do not have the icon of ESS in my taskbar, so I can't open it.

I will try to reinstall and see what happens.

Default Re: Don't send when I restart windows

Hi

Before you go drastic and uninstall/reinstall, just reboot first!
This happens now & then and a reboot usually gets things back to normal, it's only a buggered startup and that can be a common occurence, especially with a Beta program.
If the first reboot doesn't start it properly, try again. This happened to me twice and usually the 1st reboot gets it going but the last time it took 2 reboots and it's been fine ever since.

The services are still running also, all that's happened is you lost the Tray Icon, and the GUI can be started from the Program Files folder if you want also.
