Default automount on mk802

I'm using Paragon NTFS&HFS+ on an mk802, a USB-drive sized computer with the default android install. It works with my external HFS+ drive when I manually mount it. I checked auto mount in settings but it does not work.

My situation is that I would like to carry the mk802 and the external drive around and use sftp to access files. If there were a way to start Paragon from the command line, that would work because the SSH server does start automatically without a monitor attached. Or if there is something else I need to do to enable automount, please let me know!
