Iron - Comodo Dragon - Chrome

I'm having a time trying to pick between/decide on which one to use. I'm not very familiar with either of the three, is there any sort of major difference?

There are more compilations than just those 3, just FYI. But I'd choose Iron over Chrome because I'd be paranoid about privacy issues. But I'd use Chrome over anything made by Comodo developers.

I'm not a chromium expert (the repository they are built off) but I reckon some other people can chuck in some more suggestions. But I suggest you try them all and pick your favourite.

After a tiny bit of testing, Comodo won't work with my x64. And Iron, strangely, is agonizingly slow. Off to try some more

I would recommend ChromePlus.

Strange... seems like my Prevx/SafeOnline is causing the slow downs in all Chrome-like browsers.

I've just added the Google Chrome extension for Site Advisor to Iron. I have WOT as well. All it needs is a form of NoScript for Chromium now!

Chrome allready has that (only Comodo not, because they are few releases behind), To find the content protection (Cookies, Images, Plug-ins, Javascript, Pop-Ups, Origin IP location blocking) see pic

ROFL, another reason not to use Google, try Scroogle which doesn't show search terms in the url

EDIT: Never mind I just actually realized the search term is all over the screenshot, in the title and next to the page load.

@ Kees1958, I've heard about this development. I think Iron 5 may have something like it eventually. I don't know if the 5 alpha has anything like it though.

I thought that Chromium being a developmental browser would be difficult to use or manage for the average computer user.

After all, my main source of information on computing is Windows Vista for Dummies! LOL

No just a realistic example

WOT colours it Orange/Yellow, McFee Site Advisor as okay, Chrome's internal phising does not complain about, as OpenDNS

Due to the cookie block you have to confrm you are over 18 after every click, due to javascript blocking you can't watch movies.

So it really works, I had expected the ratings to be worse, technically it seems okay (Chrome, McFee, Open-DNS), socially (WOT) it is in the twilight zone. I was surprised about it, because porn site are responsible for a fair chunk of malware according to overview I read in a PC magazine (do not know which). You porn was supposed to be one of the most visited sites. I noticed it had dedicated dutch page addresses after the initial portal, so traffic much be huge also.

MHH it is sunday morning now, not a very suited time to do some 'field' research, but I would like to know whether the used javascript is the same at all movies or whether it differs per movie (when it differs per movie, uploaders could hide malware in it). I am also going to do some research on flash based malware.

Could not resist it, it is not the javascript what is a problem, it is the flash, most likely the ads on the pages:
