ESS 5 firewall message on rundll32.exe
Hi,
When using Google Chrome on Windows 7, I sometimes get an ESS5 firewall message on outbound traffic on the application Windows Host Process (Rundll32.exe), which want to connect to port 80 of servers on the akamaitechnologies.com domain. When I check Task manager, the corresponding command line is:
c:\window\system32\rundll32.exe "c:\users\myname\appdate\local\google\chrome\applic~1\150874~1.12\gcswf32.dll",BrokerMain browser=chrome
From what I'm reading on the net, I can extrapolate that this might be how Adobe Flash player updates itself in Chrome. Can anyone else confirm this, possible by referring to a trusted web page where this is explained?
