Default "Prevx" and i.e.

How much "real time" protection can I expect while surfing the net from things like Drive By downloads, ActiveX, tracking cookies, browser & search engine hijacking, redirects, filching sites, etc., with this program. Would Socketshield offer more real time protection?

Thank you in advance for your comments

I would say use Opera, disable Java, plugins and cookies, and run it in a sandbox. And a proper firewall.

prevx1 wont stop cookies but it will stop any malicious executables (programs).

using firefox + noscript, i have yet to encounter any malware though.
