Hi,
I have 4GB data in my document folder and more than 2 GB PST file of MS outlook. Now I want to take backup of my C: drive, excluding these data. so if my PC will be crrouptaed than I will use this backup. but I don't want to add these data files in backup. I need only program setting and installed software, thats all. how can i do that ? |

ankupan,
My suggestion is to create a data partition on your HD and move "4GB data in my document folder and more than 2 GB PST file of MS outlook" into the data partition. Then your C: drive image will be a lot smaller and you can backup your data partition to another HD by using Windows Explorer or the Files and Folders component of TI. |

Hello ankupan,
Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software. Please notice that separate files/folders cannot be excluded from a drive/partition image, which is usually necessary to restore the system after failure. The possible solution would be, as Brian K described, moving those files/folders onto a separate partition. You can find the detailed instructions on how to use Acronis True Image in the respective User's Guide. Thank you. -- Marat Setdikov
