Default Major problem with XPS laptop

I have a Dell XPS laptop which uses two 200gig harddrives in a raid array. I have set up a 60gig partition for the OS and the remaining 310gig is set up as a data partition. When I tried to reinstall an Acronis True Image backup to the 60gig partition, it will not do it. I get a "non system disc" error, and there is no sign of my 310gig data partition - it just shows it as un-allocated space. What has Acronis done to my partitions?

Hello Almin,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Enterprise Software.

Could you please clarify the following:

1. The exact version and build you are using (you can find it in the Help -> About dialog (it should be a 3 or 4 digit number)
2. Exact sequence of actions that lead to the issue you report
3. Operating system you trying to recover

Thank you.
