Ha Ha not my late 2009 Macbook thats 1 solid chunk of polycarbonate body thats very solid and comparable to thinkpad.However,8 screws to remove the bottom cover and everything is exposed.

That's good to know about the ThinkPads', mattbiernat, thanks!
I will just have to be my own customer support. ![]() I do want a laptop that I can work on, fix, upgrade parts, etc. not one with all the parts soldered down or impossible to change parts. Which seems to be the case more and more. Mabye some day a Mac, not today though. ![]() |
