Default Configuring Ubuntu firewall for VPN and VNC

I'd appreciate some help using Shorewall to configure the firewall. I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS as a VM, and accessing it on another PC via VNC. I'm connecting to XeroBank via OpenVPN. I have instructions for configuring the firewall to permit the XeroBank connection, and have followed them successfully. I need to also permit the VNC connection, and haven't managed that so far. FWIW, the VM is at 192.168.111.12::5900.

The attachment to this post lists the contents recommended by XeroBank for each Shorewall file. Which files need changed, and what do I add to each? Alternatively, please recommend a good Shorewall manual. Thanks.
