Antivir PersonalEdition Classic with the annoying notifier turned off. I also use SSM free for outgoing protection and behavior protection.

I'm as well using the free version of Avast!. You get the same features and protection anyways. For the paid all you get is just advanced features for Exp. users.

It seems like there are lots of people who think you have to pay to get something good. Well it's their money.

Personal opinion, I think the additional security is worth paying for, but many rather stick with the free, up to them. The free ones are decent still |

Hi Dawgg, I would also pay for better security, and use KAV6 on my desktop, but with the detection rates of Avira which are better than almost all paid AVs, I really do not see how I am getting additional security. I am not using a suite. Best, Jerry |

My moms' insisting that I continue to use a paid version of Norton. I really don't find it that well in it's preformance.. there's a lot of viruses that I've taken down with basic DOS programs that norton couldnt remove.
