Default Question regarding PM's

Hi

If my PM box gets full, and someone sends me a PM, what happens?
Does the PM return to sender notifying that my inbox in full? Does the message get stored temporarily and arrives when I make some space in my box? Or does the message get lost without notification neither to me nor to the sender?

Thanks
