Default Doc Scrubber questions: Word 2007+2010? keep modified date?

I found the Doc Scrubber tool for wiping all internal hidden word properties.

It seems to be rather old (from days before Word 2007 and Word 2010).

So does this tool work for Word 2007 and Word 2010 as well?

Does it work for Excel files as well?

Assume I wipe the properties of all Word docs in a certain directory tree:
Is there a way to keep the current (old) last modified dates of the *.doc files?

If not: When will a new version be released with all these features?

Thank you
Matt
