Safeguy,
Yeah i turned it off in the end. I think i'll do the same with auto AV updates aswell , and the windows updates give you a 10 minute heads up so no worries there. My girlfreind can run amok on the web now with games on my laptop now if she wants. Must be times when you start using this software that you forget to restart through Time Freeze and just turn off the PC after a web session.... Would turning the PC off and on reveal a clean slate or would only a restart work i wonder. i guess the latter - i'll have to give that a try, but i would have thought the boffins have that covered aswell. |

They need to correct the year on that changelog, it's not 2012 anymore.

I think you should understand one thing. If one project is made by different developers, they can keep the different version number for the files they built. I think TTF is made up of Windows Drivers and GUI files, if it is made by different users, they can use different file version to keep tracking. For example. Windows XP = Windows NT 5.0 But you can check all the exe and dlls in the system32 folder in XP, you will find that all have different version nubmerbs.

Just using v. 1.9.3 yet. Very stable in my Win XP and Win 7 systems; since I don't have "BSOD issue with EFI partition", I don't update it now. TTF is in fact a very solid and stable application; I use it always in "Frozen Mode" with Sandboxie. When I need to update something I enter in "Normal Mode". Folders like "My Documents" and others like Opera, AdFefender profile files are in my D:\ partition with junctions in C:\ system partition. And the last, but not the least, it is freeware!
