Well you cannot compare EAM with MBAM now can you? EAM is a full blown AV suite now. Maybe compatible with some other Av suites but now it alone is more than enough. Whereas MBAM needs to be used with a full blown AV. You have to compare the updating of EAM with only the traditional non cloud mainstream AV suite products like Ikarus. In that aspect EAM is quite in the level playing field downloading the whole database after a week of not updating so protecting your pc correctly.

On two badly infected computers that I helped clean up, EAM found more 'things' than the AV (Symantec & MSE) and MBAM found.

I think detection is a huge Emsisoft strength.
