Default NTSF for OSX created files read-only in Windows

I formatted an external drive with NTSF using Windows 7. I then connected this drive to a Mac which has Paragon's NTSF for OSX 9.5 installed and proceeded to move a number of files to the external drive.

On connecting the drive to the Windows system again I am able to read the files, and I can create new files, but I cannot modify/rename the files that were written by the OSX system. They all have read-only flags set and these cannot be changed.

Is this normal? Or is there something I need to do to enable full write/read access?

We need to know the version of the driver to answer this question.
Please have a look in bottom right corner in System Preferences - NTFS for Mac OS X.
