Default ESS and new RA install problem

Hi all, We have rebuilt an SBS server that was using RA to manage 50 client PCs running ESS. The clients are all looking for the old server name on port 2222. The new server is a different name and on port 2223. I have the password to manage the client installation but it does not save the change when I give it the new server details, is there a way to get the 50 PC's to see the new server and register against it?
I can still get files off the old server if I need to recover the original package file.
Any help would be appreciated.

Default Re: ESS and new RA install problem

Hello Tinga,

To have the clients recognize the new server, push out the following registry patch to them:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ESET\ESET Security\CurrentVersion\Plugins\01000600\Profiles\@My profile]
"RAClientEnabled"=dword:00000001
"RAClientServer"="SERVER_ADDRESS"

If this does not get them to recognize the new server, try uninstalling and reinstalling ESS on the clients.

Thank you,
Richard
