Notebook WILL not boot.
NO Error messages - nothing. No boot options, machine just hangs. Find OS's on Paragon Recovery CD allows me to select my OS - machine boots perfectly (Windows 7 x64) How can I boot without the Recovery CD? Thanks for any help - greatly appreciated. Steve |

Boot with the Windows 7 repair or installation disk, and try to "repair" the Windows installation. Or use the Boot Corrector included in Paragon WinPE or Linux boot disks to repair the boot parameters or "rebuild" the MBR.

Thanks, but already done that.
Paragon will only let me view the MBR, not correct it. MM Last edited by MuckersMate : May 25th, 2011 at 02:36 PM. |

Try to use Windows Repair CD for Windows 7 as Robin A. said:
* follow this link and burn the appropriate Windows 7 Recovery Disk: http://neosmart.net/blog/2009/window...-repair-discs/ * Then burn *,iso as an Image and boot your PC from it. * Choose your language settings, and then click Next. * Click Repair your computer. * Select the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next. * On the System Recovery Options menu, click Startup Repair. Once completed. restart your PC and boot to Windows.
