Question How NOD32v2.7 co-works with Norton GoBack4.0?

Dear everyone and Advanced Engineers,

Would you possibly tell me How NOD32v2.7 co-works with Norton GoBack4.0?
,and give me a final solution for this issue. Thanks a lot : )

Description: Norton Goback4.0 installed, NOD32v2.7 installed after it, when restart WindowsXP, OS auto-reboot when login each time, as os crashes.

It seems that NOD32 AMON Auto-startup, not co-works with GoBack well,
,and it goes smoothly, when disable Goback or disable AMON Startup!
However, how the two works at the same time without crash peathfully if the NOD32 and GoBack are both needed at the same time? Could Possibly set AMON not to scan some Goback files or the like by setting setup of AMON?
NOTE:the latter(disable AMON Startup gives rise to NOD32 tray icon turns red). That's it! thanks: )

Hi Kate and welcome to Wilders.

In response to your query, I have had both GoBack 4. and the latest version of NOD32 (currently 2.70.23) running together for over 12 months without any conflict ever occurring between these two programs.

NOD32v2.7 is the latest "NEW" version, but you said that "for 12 months"? it's non-logical, you're kidding me : )

Still find it a bit conflict with Goback when enable AMON startup(Disable either GoBack or AMON Startup then go smoothly without repeatly auto-reboot),maybe you're right, yet how to setup AMON to co-work with it is still probably a issue... thank you.

What I was endeavouring to convey was that GoBack 4 has not created any problems with any version of NOD including the current 2.76.23 during the 12 months I have had them running together.

Kate, all systems are different and so you are finding that AMON and GoBack do not work well together on your computer.

Try excluding the the main GoBack running processes from Amon; e.g Add to the exclude; C:\Program Files\NortonGoBack\GBPoll.exe.

You may also need to add the short path name to the exclusion list as well.
