build 2289 - my first experience!

Hi all,

the new 2289, German version, is already available on the German Acronis site. For the first time version 9 seem to work like it should, at least the problems I had so far did not occur in an initial test.
Before, I could write an image and verify OK under Windows (XP), but when I bootet the computer with the rescue cd verification was negative; "corrupt" file.
Now that works!
Before, when I tried to restore, TI would stop the process after a minute or so telling me the image file is "corrupted". Now, I can do a restore.
My feeling is that TI is now a little bit slower than the builds before, but I did not measure and therefore I'm not sure.

Glad it seems to work for you. How did you get an early copy? Did you leave your towel on the Acronis beach?!!

Just downloaded it! Guess the English version on acronis.com will be there soon. Sometimes it's just the other way 'round, means the Englisch version comes sooner.
