Default Smart Security & Outlook

I've recently upgraded to SS 4 and had no problems until recently when outlook refuses to open in anything other than safe mode and the SS bar is gone. It hasn't been disabled.

I seem to have tried everything to sort outlook but wonder whether this is a problem with SS?

Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Hello neilmac,

ESET has a help article here you might want to look through. >> The ESET Smart Security Antispam toolbar in Outlook is missing

Thanks, tried that already, no joy as Outlook does not show SS as being disabled.

I'm not sure whether it is just an Outlook problem that needs to be resolved or whether SS created the problem.

Very odd, when I log in as my wife, Outlook and SS are fine and dandy but when I open my own, it needs to open in safe mode.
