This is good advice for anyone seeking help from a forum or newsgroup: first search to see if your question has been answered before. It's unfair to expect people to keep answering the same questions over and over, when the answers already exist and are available through a search.

In answer to your question, yes it is possible and the details are already documented here in several threads. If you have specific questions after reviewing that information and trying out the documented steps, then someone may assist you.

Of course I did search, but I have only seen solution that uses TrueImageService.exe, that I do not have with TI 11 home.

This file should be at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\TrueImageHome\TrueImageHomeService.exe if you performed a default installation of TI 11.

I think the file name diff is due to it being changed between 10 and 11 -- or was it just the directories that changed for no good apparent reason?

I have some sympathy for folks using the search engines on forums. They're awfully bad. But I happen to know that, as Kolo points out, this particular issue has shown up in scads of places. And I'll sign my name to that ;-)

I found the instructions in message #3 here

An AutoHotKey script:

TI_Dir = C:\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\TrueImageHome
TI_Script_Dir = "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts
BU_Script = 7F3EDA01-CB8F-4580-B05C-C166990075A8.tib.tis"
TI_Exe = TrueImageHomeService.exe

run, %TI_Dir%\%TI_Exe% /script:%TI_Script_Dir%\%BU_Script%,,hide UseErrorLevel
if ErrorLevel = ERROR
MsgBox The ATI backup script could not be launched.
