Default Configure Capsa 7 to Capture Traffic for Entire Network ?

Hi.

How do you configure CapSa 7 to monitor the traffic on the entire subnet ?

We do have managed Dlink Switches that do support port Mirroring.

Thanks for any response.

Hi Jackson,

You need check the config manual to set up port mirroring to copy the packets of the ports you want to monitor to a port to where Capsa machine is connected to monitor packet data. For more details, please take a look at this post on our KB: http://kb.colasoft.com/how-to/106-wh...s-on-a-network.

Hi Jason,

Port mirroring/SPAN is what we use to copy the packets for monitoring and forensics analysis. How's it going with Capsa?
