Default On getting a 2nd system

I looked in the TDS helpfile, & I think it means that I need to get another licence, so I thought I'd make sure, plus I have Wormguard as well.

I just got another system with XP Pro, & it's going to be networked with my Win98 system. [I'm not using it yet, the teckie didn't do as I asked, & he now has to do a format, lean install & re-partition to my original spekkies]. KVM will allow me to use either system.

So do I buy new licences for TDS & Wormguard now?

Dee, You can buy them now if you want, I would also suggest Process Guard for the XP machine. Remeber you will get extra discount for each licence you buy

I was already thinking of getting ProcessGuard for the XP system. Funnily enough, when I visited DiamondCS's website this morning, there was a discounted bundle, but I don't see it there now - wonder what I missed out on?

Edit - I found it, the bundle is TDS3 + WormGuard +Port Explorer for $US99

If you go via your own members area page you might see your own personal pricelist! Your discount grows with every buy till a certain limit of course.
Yep, if the XP is fine, first follow Pilli's advice about ProcessGuard if possible as first program to be installed, then one by one add the next.

When XP's install is done right [just the O/S & none of the other rubbish that the teckie put on], I'll be installing all my programs on a separate partition, so I'll certainly take your advice & install ProcessGuard first.

Members Page? Do I have one or how do I get one?

Edit - I found where it is, but have changed my email addy so it doesn't recognise me.

Send the old and new email address to support@diamondcs.com.au so they can change you in the database, members area, DiamondCS Forum and TDS Private Licensed Operations Only Forum.

Don't connect the w98 system via network on this one till the other is first all clean.

Thanks, Jooske, I have already emailed them.

And even when Win98 is clean, there's no way I will even allow the new one to connect to anything [including the Internet] until all my preferred security s/ware is up & running - A/V, DiamondCS etc, I find it pays to ne paranoid!
