So, what is this "em002_32_10.nup' d/l attempt

So, I see that my ESS 5 is trying to update its definitions. It fails, telling me in the log that the "update module" failed "allocating memory."

I try updating again and notice it's downloading something called "em002_32_10.nup" which is some 37 MB in size.

This seems weird so I abort and run a smart scan which finds

Okay, it hasn't cleaned these things, whatever they are; I restart the PC and rescan and find that they have disappeared from the MSOCache, and ESS 5 has just successfully updated to the latest database version 7208 as though nothing strange had happened.

So, what's been going on here?

In case of such a large amount of RAM installed when you may get an error allocating memory, I'd suggest contacting Customer Care for a special version of the updater.
