ESS v3.0 Blocking VMware

Can somebody help us out here please, my Son-in-Law is trying to run VMware on his PC but for some reason ESS v3.0 is blocking it and we cannot workout where or what settings to change so that it will run on his PC.

You might need to upgrade to v4 and enable bridged connections in the IDS section of the firewall setup.
