Default ESET requires your attention

Has this KB made any progress as far as a fix goes?

It's quite annoying to see this throughout the day.. running ESET Endpoint 5.0.2126.0 at the office here... I keep telling my users to ignore it.

Yes. There is no gamer mode for business edition and clearing caches did nothing.

Gamer mode is in Endpoint Security, however they happened to label it as "Presentation Mode". Check and see if Presentation Mode is enabled. I think it is disabled by default.

This is already fixed in EAV/ESS v6 where the problematic functionality was coded from scratch. That said, this issue cannot be 100% fixed before EEA/EES v6.

This didn't exist in v4.. so whatever changed in v5 should be reverse able since it was just an upgrade/partial re-write.

I started to rollout 5.0.2126.3 in the organisation and already I have seen two of those messages.

Which is the user interface preference to set to suppress this kind of messages?
"Show alerts"?
"Show balloon tips in taskbar"?

Of course I don't want to suppress virus alerts, only these informational messages.
