Default monitor e-mails?

does my NOD32 antivirus monitor my incoming e-mails for viruses, etc.? i have SPAMFIGHTER PRO, but i doubt that that sifts out viruses and other ugly stuff. i used to see notices at the bottom of e-mails saying that they were scanned but not any more. wassup?

Default Re: monitor e-mails?

If you receive email via POP3 / IMAP then it's checked for threats. Otherwise it depends on what email client you use.
