Default file format problem

Hello guys,

I edited the network packets using the decoder editor and hex editor. Its great. Then i saved the file in libpcap(tcpdump, ethereal)*.pcap format using export feature. When i tried to open it through wireshark, it doesnt open. Please help me out with the compatible formats with wireshark. I need to edit packets and view from wirshark. \
Thanks in advance.

Default Re: file format problem

does wireshark come up with a message why it is not opening the edited file?
