Hello, I'm new to Acronis. I downloaded the TI 9.1 windows server edition. It looks like I can backup files located on network shares but how do I backup a partition on the server? Basically I want to create regular images weekly or daily. I would like to install the product on an XP workstation then backup 3 different servers.
Is this possible? Did I download the right product? |

Hello kurtd,
Thank you for your interest in Acronis Corporate Products. Please note that you should install three copies of Acronis Enterprise Server Agent on each of your servers and Acronis Management Console on your Windows XP workstation in order to back up your server machines remotely. You can also install Acronis True Image 9.1 Server for Windows on each server and back up them manually. Please be aware that according to Acronis software licensing policy, you should purchase one copy of Acronis program per each machine it will be used with. Thank you. -- Oleg Churkin

If I install the enterprise server on a workstation and use it to backup files stored on network shares, I need a license for each machine where acronis is accessing shared files from?
