After a some crude testing on my part System Security Guard threw up far fewer alerts then it should have.
Maybe a good concept if in fact SSG was a bit more aggressive.
Not something I would rely upon in its current state.
Maybe SSG just needs some time to add more files to its database.

To me SSG looks to be the "System Security Check" feature already present in System Explorer, so you may as well just use SE, and benefit from its other features as well.
Can't see much point in SSG, and can't see it being too popular, unfortunately.
